This privacy policy sets out how CG veterinary physiotherapy uses and protects the personal information that is given to us. I ask that you read through this information prior to using the services provided.

The information collected from clients and former clients is used for the purpose of performing physiotherapy services and the required follow up services. This information may include your name, email, phone number, postal address, insurance details, and information from your animal’s vet. 

 

Why do we need your personal data?

·      To enable us to keep detailed records about the animal’s treatment

·      To maintain specific professional standards 

·      To identify and allow the animal to be treated by the veterinary physiotherapist. 

 

Data retention​

This data is always held securely and only shared with paraprofessionals to keep them informed about progress and changes to your animal’s treatment following your consent. 

Personal data is kept in a password protected file on a password protected computer aiming to ensure all information is secure. 

Following NAVP and data protection guidance. Data will be retained for 7 years after the last dated treatment your animal has undergone.  

 

Consent 

Through agreeing to the privacy policy prior to the initial assessment, you are consenting to Charlotte Goodall veterinary physiotherapy to process your personal details for professional purposes.

 

Your rights

As an individual you have legal rights governing the use of your personal data. These allow individuals to understand exactly what personal data is being held, for what purpose and how it is collected, stored and used as well as who it can be shared with. I will never distribute or share this data with any third parties. Only when required to do so by law.
